Vikki Sharpe

Labrador Trainer | Owner

I’m Vikki, the owner and founder of Tails of Success Labrador Training.  Labradors have always had a special place in my heart, and you’ll never find me far from one of the Tails of Success resident labradors. They are amazing, intelligent and loving creatures that deserve the very best.

Having served as a Police Officer for 14 years, I jumped at the opportunity to have a career change in 2019, and I now train Labradors full time. I have the best job in the world!

I have seen many intelligent, enthusiastic Labradors who do not excel in standard dog training classes.  That’s why I created Tails of Success, to offer tailored and breed-specific training, behaviour and nutrition solutions to Labrador owners. After all, a Labrador is very different from a bulldog, so how we care and train our Labradors should reflect their uniqueness.

It’s a privilege to help Labradors and their humans from around the globe develop a strong, trusting bond whilst training with us. Whatever your Labradors age or ability, we would love to be a part of your training journey.

I offer 1-1 tailored training to our Labrador students between Malmesbury in Wiltshire and Cirencester in Gloucestershire. Live further afield? No problem, we can help you with some online training at our Online Puppy School or our Online Foundation Skills.

I look forward to meeting you and your Labrador soon.

Chloe Daws

Labrador Puppy Trainer

Hi I’m Chloe, a very proud member of the Tails of Success team. I have worked with dogs for the past 5 years and it just never gets old! I have always had a huge passion for animals however I ended up spending many of my working years in office jobs. After realising that something furry was missing, I started working at a doggy daycare centre back in 2016 where I found my passion for dog behaviour and training. I learnt huge amounts about dog behaviour, body language and training that I now find extremely rewarding to pass onto other dog owners. Seeing them build on their relationships and bond with their dogs as well as helping them have a more comfortable and stress free life, is all I could wish for!

In recent years I have been drawn to Labradors due to their intelligence, willingness to learn and of course their absolutely adorable personalities! I would say Labrador puppies have the top spot in my heart which has brought me to specialising in puppy training at Tails of Success. It makes me so happy to be able to provide valuable knowledge and teach life skills to help their puppies grow to become confident, brilliant companions.

I also have experience working with other behavioural issues that include separation anxiety, dog/human reactivity on and off lead and resource guarding.

Although most of my time is spent puppy training, I love bringing pencil to paper to draw our fellow furry friends too! I find this very therapeutic, and seeing their gorgeous faces emerge in front of me is so lovely.

Whatever the reason or purpose, I very much look forward to meeting you and your Labrador soon!

Tails of Success - Sam Raggatt - Labrador Nutritionalist

Sam Raggatt

Canine Nutritionalist

Hi, my name is Sam, and I am the Canine Nutritionist at Tails of Success.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of being around lots of Labradors. I have friends that train guide dogs, and I’m constantly amazed at how intelligent, loving, and caring Labradors are.  It didn’t take long before we decided to bring a Labrador into our family, and that’s where my Labrador obsession started. Our first Labrador was Mabel, and as soon as I met her, I knew I had made the right decision. I have never looked back, and it wasn’t long before our second Labrador, Dennis, came along.

Labrador nutrition is a subject very close to my heart after nearly losing our first dog Mabel to a food intolerance. The first 11 months of her life were such a turbulent time, made worse by trying to navigate the minefield of the many dog foods options available.

Finding reliable, up to date information from trustworthy sources was so challenging, that’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands and study Canine Nutrition.  Because I have such an affinity with Labradors, focusing on nutrition specifically for that breed made sense. After all, Labradors are pretty unique, so they need the correct diet to support them.

I’m passionate about helping other Labrador owners provide a balanced, nutritional diet to support their growth and development, leading to optimal health in their beloved pets.

I’m often found in the kitchen creating healthy treats for Mabel and Dennis and introducing them to new, nutritious foods.  My family often comment that Mabel and Dennis eat better than they do. I can honestly say that this is true.

The correct food and nutrition is vital for your Labrador. I would love to help you learn about what is best for them whilst guiding you through the many options of foods, treats and supplements that will give your Labrador the best opportunities for a happy, healthy life with you.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and your Labrador soon
